October 31st, 2008
With the Jonas Brothers’ half-hour Disney Channel show (debuting in May ‘09), expect brand-new music, guest stars (Big Rob! ”Bonus Jonas” Frankie!), and major high jinks. ”We’re trying to cook Mom a special birthday cake,” explains oldest sibling Kevin, 20, who’s wielding the fire extinguisher as Joe and Nick look on. ”We destroyed our family’s home videos, so we have to find ways to make up those memories.” From the looks of it, mission accomplished. - Entertainment Weekly

Walter the Farting Dog
October 28th, 2008It was announced this morning that Nick, Joe and Kevin will be starring in their first big screen scripted movie — Walter the Farting Dog!
The movie is based on a kid’s book with the same name. In the flick the bros will play musicians who are asked to take care of their Aunt’s fat dog, Walter, who has a bad farting problem!
And guess what — Frankie Jonas is also in the movie! Frankie’s character is super-mischievous and will cause all sorts of ker-azy drama with the doggie!
The movie is set to start filming in the spring of next year! - M Magazine
the 30th Anniversary Carousel Of Hope Ball
October 26th, 2008Here are some photos of the Jonas Brothers at the 30th Anniversary Carousel Of Hope Ball at The Beverly Hilton Hotel on October 25, in Beverly Hills, California.

“Nick Jonas always gets emotional when he performs A Little Bit Longer, but during Saturday night’s performance at the Carousel of Hope Ball he had to fight back tears.
The song, which the 16-year-old member of the Jonas Brothers wrote, addresses his personal struggle with diabetes, a disease he was diagnosed with three years ago. “On the day that I got diagnosed, I heard about this event,” Jonas said of the ball, which benefits the Barbara Davis Center for Childhood Diabetes. “And I knew it was something that I wanted to be a part of. To be here tonight to perform is a dream come true for us and for me, it’s truly an honor.”
The diagnosis changed the family, said brother Kevin, 20.
“It was hard for all of us. When it first happened we were sitting in our house and we didn’t understand what diabetes was. So immediately we went to Wikipedia and searched it online to understand what diabetes meant. Once we understood that he was going to be OK, we were way more comforted and immediately wanted to go see him,” he said. “He’s doing really well with it and there’s times when we have to be there for each other and with Nick’s diabetes there are times that you can’t control it. And we just have to be there.”
The event brought out many celebrities, including Melanie Griffith, Quincy Jones, Clive Davis, Kenny (Babyface) Edmonds, Sidney Poitier, Virginia Madsen, Cookie and Magic Johnson, Joan Collins, Garcelle Beauvais Nilon, Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden.
Josh Groban, who is working on a new album with producer Rick Rubin, talked about the pull of the Jonas Brothers, joking that he was nervous to follow their act.
“The Jonas Brothers are arguably some of the biggest stars in the world right now,” he said, bowing in their direction. “Kudos to the guys for coming and really showing their support and kudos to Nick for being open about it and talking about it and educating people about it.” - usatoday.com
